A wind rose up in the unclaimed lands of Kitriex, over the tall peak of Hawkeye Mountain, through the tall trees of Alanna's Forest, over the Clearrock River, into the Firestar Meadow. The wind was not a beggining, nor was it an end, for their are neither beginnings or ends in the turning of the Wheel of Life. But it was a beginning. The wind swept through Amras's dark fur, with streaks of silver running through it. He raised his up to catch the scent of a rabbit he had been tracking all morning. He let out a low howl as his nose caught a metallic scent. North. Had someone killed his rabbit? Was all his tracking to be for nothing? He continued traveling northward, the direction the rabbit had been heading all morning, with caution, not quite knowing what to expect.
